Despite improvements in production, all synthetic fabrics lose microplastics during washing. These tiny fibres then make their way into the water system, polluting our rivers, seas and oceans. Using a Guppyfriend Washing Bag helps prevent this contamination by protecting your clothes from damage and capturing any microfibre shed during washing. Simply place synthetic clothing in the bag, wash as normal and then remove the trapped fibres from the hem and dispose of them in the non-recyclable waste.
