Using a Guppyfriend Washing Bag helps prevent this contamination by protecting your clothes from damage and capturing any microfibre shed during washing. Simply place synthetic clothing in the bag, wash as normal and then remove the trapped fibres from the hem and dispose of them in the non-recyclable waste.
